Samaritan Center Food Drive

Please drop off non-perishable food items (canned meat, mustard, sugar, flour, rice/pasta dinners, hot cereals, canned fruit, etc.) in the designated barrels in the church lobby. Thank you for helping your neighbors keep food on the table this holiday season!

Baptism

Congratulations to Paul and Gabriella Schmidt on their decision to publicly state they are followers of Jesus Christ, their personal Savior! The siblings will be baptized during our second service today by Pastor Jerry Arnold.

Open Windows Widows' Min. Meeting

Children's Church

Child Impact International Free Dinner and Silent Auction

Jaime Jorge will present: A Thanksgiving of Joy, Benefit Concert

November 30 at 6pm

Join us for a free concert to help make a difference in the lives of inner-city children in the Chattanooga area, as well as to help a very special young lady become a chaplain (more details at the concert!). Jaime will share music from his best-selling new album Here I Am to Worship, tell inspiring stories of what God is doing, as well as delight you with music featuring his mom and sister, and the Bridges Academy of Music students.

U-Turn Recovery

Mondays from 7-8:15pm

This life-changing ministry is a fellowship of people who have been or are currently struggling with substance abuse issues. It is a warm, welcoming, non-condemning support group led by Pastor Jerry. We are meeting in Studio Room, #218. 

Community Bible Study

Tuesdays at 7pm

Pastor Jim teaches in these weekly meetings. Currently using video series called, Don’t Give the Enemy a Seat at Your Table, by Louie Giglio. It’s sharing practical ways to overcome the Enemy’s lies.  Meetings are in the Community Center’s Magnolia Rm, #C203.

CCC Grant

CCC students of GCC schools in our area (includes CA & GCA) can be eligible for additional help on their tuition payments ($50/month) by attending Sabbath School at least twice a month & participating in a church ministry. Please fill out the CCC Grant 2024-25 form on the HUB. Contributing to the grant? Specify: CCC Grant on the tithe envelope.

Free Counseling by SAU Graduate Students

Southern Center for Counseling and Emotional Wellness at SAU offers free confidential counseling from master’s level counselors in training. Counselors are supervised by licensed, experienced counselors. Both in person and virtual appointments are available. Community Thanksgiving Service

This service will be held in the Collegedale Commons’ Founders Hall. Non-perishable food donations will be collected to support the Samaritan Center. This community, interdenominational event is open to everyone!
