I am deeply honored to have been installed as your new California Contract Cities Association (CCCA) President. Thank you to all who served on the 2022-23 Executive Board. A ginormous thank you to Jeff Wood for his amazing leadership as our President last year. I look forward to our continued partnership this year.

It was wonderful to see so many of you gather for the Annual Municipal Seminar. It brings me great pride to know that our members are collaborating not only for the betterment of our own cities, but for the future of local government. CCCA is a quickly growing organization, well recognized by our County, State and now, federal government. My goal this year is to build on that momentum and make us even stronger. We can reach greater heights when we work together, and I look forward to working with each of you to foster these opportunities in the next year.

The California Contract Cities Association’s 2023 Annual Municipal Seminar is a wrap! Thank you to everyone who attended for making this year’s seminar a huge success. I would also like to thank our Associate Members and conference sponsors for your support in making this year’s conference a resounding success.

We will continue with our monthly board meetings starting again in July, which will be hosted by Cal Water. I hope to see many of you there. Our 2023 Fall Educational Seminar will be held at the Westin San Diego Bayview from September 8-10. We are already in the planning stages to provide our members with the best educational sessions and networking Southern California has to offer.

Finally, a huge congratulations to our new President Dr. Julian Gold from Beverly Hills. Congratulations also go out to our new Vice President Jennifer Perez of Norwalk and Secretary/Treasurer Brenda Olmos of Paramount.
