City leaders and representatives from the National Guard and California's Highway Patrol answered questions at a press conference about their partnership and new multi-agency task force set to dismantle drug networks.

The inaugural meeting of the Board's new Homelessness and Behavioral Health Select Committee heard a presentation on how San Francisco will implement State legislated CARE Court by October.

Amending Property Crime Related Prop 47 Stalled


Two efforts to amend 2014's Prop 47, which reduced many theft and drug crimes from felonies to misdemeanors, and increased grand theft amounts from $500 to $950, stalled in state legislature. Both AB 1603 and AB 1599 failed to advance to a vote.
