Central Coast Community Energy’s Energy Programs are driving electrification! Switching your transportation, home, or workplace from fossil fuel sources like natural gas or gasoline to clean electric power can greatly reduce regional greenhouse gas emissions and offer reliable and affordable solutions for the Central Coast.

CCCE Energy Programs aid customers with this transition by providing rebates and incentives for electric vehicles (EVs), electric school buses, EV charging stations, electric agricultural equipment, all-electric housing, and more. Together, we are electrifying hundreds of housing units, putting hundreds more EVs on the road and adding more charging stations in our region. And that is just the beginning so take part and electrify today!
CCCE customers including households, property owners, businesses, agriculture and public agencies are eligible to apply for rebates and incentives offered by CCCE Energy Programs:

  • Program Extended! Only $200K in EV Incentives left for residential, commercial, ag and public agency customers available through September 30th

Central Coast Community Energy and Silicon Valley Clean Energy Partner to Support Construction of California’s Newest Renewable Geothermal Project

Construction in Mammoth Lakes, CA is underway for the new, state-of-the-art Casa Diablo IV geothermal project being developed by Ormat Technologies in partnership with CCCE and SVCE. This geothermal project is the first within California ISO balancing authority area in 30 years! Geothermal is an important part of CCCE’s pathway to 100% renewable energy as it provides a constant, renewable power source that is available 24/7, unlike solar and wind which are intermittent. Central Coast Community Energy and Silicon Valley Clean Energy together will receive 14 MW.
Casa Diablo IV is expected to provide 30 MW of electricity, enough to power 22,000 homes and offset 160,000 tons of greenhouse gas emissions annually. The project is estimated to bring over $13 MM in economic benefits to the Mammoth Lakes region and create more than 180 construction jobs. Read more about the project in CCCE’s press release and share our announcement post on Twitter and Facebook.
