Check out this video that shows Casa Diablo-IV (CD4) construction progress and highlights the key role this landmark renewable energy project will play for CCCE and its customers as well as California’s grid. The renewable, binary geothermal project is in Mammoth Lakes, CA. It is expected to provide 30 MW of electricity. That is enough to power 22,000 homes and offset 160,000 tons of carbon dioxide per year.

Central Coast Community Energy Webinars
CCCE recently implemented monthly billing for all residential and commercial customers receiving NEM service. To prepare for this transition, CCCE trued up all NEM customers in December 2021, beginning an annual cycle for Net Surplus Compensation (NSC) calculations, which will occur in December of each year. Credits are applied monthly. These changes will benefit CCCE NEM customers through greater visibility into energy use and credit accumulation.
