Division Updates
VISION 2025 in Nashville
We are gearing up for an exciting conference! Our CCD opening session will feature keynote speaker Mark C. Perna, an international speaker and author known for inspiring educators and employers with strategies to connect with younger generations. Mark’s message will energize and empower us as we continue to lead in the space of career development. We will also recognize our division award winners and highlight key updates from the division.
CCD Networking Session at VISION
Make plans to join us for the CCD Networking Session, sponsored by Kudar, at VISION 2025! This informal gathering is a great opportunity to connect with fellow counseling and career development professionals from across the country, share ideas, and build relationships. This fall, there are multiple ways to deepen your engagement:
- Attend a RECESS Session—a relaxed, virtual space for members to Relax, Exchange Information, Connect, Explore, Share, and Sit (and listen). We are planning our next RECESS for the spring and will focus on the timely and important topic of counselor and teacher burnout. Keep an eye out for registration details coming soon!
- Volunteer for a committee or task force—your perspective and energy are vital to moving our work forward.

Student Video Contest: Gateway to the Cosmos — NASA’s Lunar Outpost
ACTE and NASA HUNCH invite students of all ages to enter the eighth annual Student Video Challenge: Gateway to the Cosmos — NASA’s Lunar Outpost. This year’s theme explores NASA’s Gateway as a vital stepping stone for humankind’s return to the moon and exploration of deep space. Students are challenged to imagine its impact on science, technology and humanity — while showcasing the CTE courses and careers that make it possible. Together, let’s celebrate a century of CTE excellence while inspiring the next generation of innovators who will lead us into the cosmos. Open to individuals or teams. Submit a two-minute video by April 1.
