Rebuilding Lives. Restoring Hope.

Homeowners are continuing to live in damaged homes. Damages continue to get worse as residents are still finding out help is still available. We need your help spreading the word that help is still out there!

Several agencies who were here right after the storm have left...but CCDRA continues work in recovery efforts. Our staff and volunteers from near and far are dedicated to providing assistance for as long as funds are available.

Be Prepared.

Hurricanes are an unstoppable event we live with as residents of beautiful Eastern North Carolina. We can't avoid hurricanes, but we can be as prepared as possible for them.

Support out of town volunteers

People from around the country make the trip to New Hope Volunteer Village to stay and work on Craven County homes for a week at a time. These volunteers have completed more than 27 repair projects between January 2023 to May 2023. They purchase ingredients and prepare their own meals in the kitchens at NHVV. Can your church, business, or group provide a meal for a team to support their efforts and thank them for their service?
