August 6 - 9!

Please join us for our highly anticipated annual August Driving Show, which will take place from the 6th through the 9th. Mark your calendars, because each day kicks off at 8:30 am sharp, and we can't wait to see you there! Our dedicated exhibitors are busy polishing their horses, sprucing up their carriages, and making sure their trailers are in tip-top shape – it’s a delightful spectacle in the making! And let’s not forget the all-important turnout attire; we’re sure to see some fabulous outfits that might just steal the show. Join us for this wonderful opportunity as we showcase our passion for carriage driving. We feature classes at all levels--from those just starting out to the seasoned pros, this event promises to be a fantastic experience filled with joy and camaraderie. Don’t miss out – we can’t wait to see you there!

We are looking for volunteers and would love for you to give us a little bit of your time. It doesn't need to be a whole day; a half-day or just enough time to cover a class would be greatly appreciated. Let our Volunteer Coordinator, Joyce Northrup, know if you have availability: (516) 768-5444. We feed our volunteers well!

About Sue...

Susan Rogers has been driving ponies and horses since she was 9 years old, when she learned to drive in a Governess cart with a Shetland pony. After many years of pleasure driving, parades and small pleasure shows, Sue tried her hand at Combined Driving at GMHA in Vermont. It was a revelation and instant joy!

Sue has trained her own ponies and competed successfully at The Laurels, Garden State, Gladstone, Elk Creek, Myopia, GMHA, Bromont, and Becancour.

After an injury which prevented her from driving competitively, she decided to become a combined driving judge to stay “ in the game”.

Sue is now competing her own Welsh Cob/ Canadian pony and very much enjoys the judging aspect of combined driving as well.
