March Meeting
Potluck
March 15 6:30 pm
Dear Members,
Happy Spring! (What????) Just as our plans for the season are taking shape, winter finally decides to make a showing.
Our first meeting of this season is scheduled for March 15 at 6:30 pm. This will be a potluck so bring your favorite dish. The club will provide soda and wine. Harvey plans to come on up for this one since he missed us so much at the December party!
We have a lot to cover at this meeting. We need to finalize the season's events including getting members' thoughts on a destination for a bus trip. Bring along any other ideas you might have for fun events we can enjoy as a group.
Our Spring Clinic is set for Saturday, April 15. We have the most knowledgeable panel of presenters: Barbara Akers, Sarah Bates, Bruce Jones, and last but not least, Morgan horse Hall of famer Jeff Morse. They will talk about what driving horses are all about: assessing whether your horse is suitable for driving, or not; choosing the right vehicle and harness, and putting together your personalized training program for you and your horse partner. Sometimes, the most experienced drivers have a training challenge, or a new horse that has a quirk you have never dealt with before--this is the seminar for you.
