Next Potluck Meeting

Hello Everyone,

Our potluck meeting was so delicious, let's do it again on Wednesday, October 21st!

Our guest speaker for the evening will be Dr. John Perdizet, a board-certified veterinarian. His topics will include acupuncture, new therapies, getting ready for winter, and answering all of your wonderful questions. He will also have a PowerPoint presentation. Please let me know what you plan to bring so we can set up appropriately.

A quick recap from last month: our guest speaker for September was Jane Taylor, who spoke about communicating with your horse using the ASL method. It was very educational and really showed us how smart our horses are.

Also, before our next meeting, Harvey and Mary are hosting The Berkshire Coaching Weekend. Even though this is not an official club event, they do need some horse-savvy volunteers to help with traffic. If you are interested, please contact Harvey directly: 413-441-4682 waller.hww@icloud.com

Minutes for the September 16 meeting...

The meeting followed a well-attended potluck supper and our guest speaker, Jane Taylor. Jane is an animal enthusiast who uses her years of experience working in large animal vet practices to communicate and listen to horses. Integrative Horsemanship is a practice where using ASL similar to modeling or teaching infants positive phrasing, adding voice, facial expressions body language, line of sight offering hands within a visual and reachable distance...
