A big thank you to the Suffolk County Legislature for their support this week! In a unanimous vote, funding was restored for our diabetes education, and family health & wellness programs! This vote reinstates 75% of county funding for these vital programs. Special thanks to Legislators Rudy Sunderman, Susan Berland and YOU, our constituents for your support.
Our Community Education program, which focuses on community nutrition, family wellness, and parenting education, is looking forward to getting back to work for the residents of Suffolk County!
