Greater Concord residents, business owners, and supporters gathered to celebrate Ellen Groh and all of her accomplishments during her time at CCEH.

The award could not have come at a better time: Ellen's last day at CCEH is December 2nd, at which point she'll head into retirement.

The celebration was a wonderful capstone to Ellen's tenure at CCEH. During her nearly nine years as Executive Director, Ellen has lead CCEH through immense growth, piloting CCEH from a small volunteer-driven organization to one with ten employees assisting individuals every day with finding safe, stable, and affordable housing.

Please join us as we extend our deepest thanks and heartfelt gratitude to Ellen as she steps away from CCEH. It's not goodbye, but see you later!

And the stigma behind being homeless is the reason why I wanted to be another voice. Because they're not homeless people: they're people without a home. It doesn't mean they're any less than anybody else. So I just want to be another voice to speak up for people."

Our incredible, compassionate, patient, and caring team give their all, every day, to help our neighbors experiencing homelessness achieve their goal of a safe, secure, decent, and affordable place to call home.

Staff, volunteers, and donors came together on Friday, November 25th, to host a full Thanksgiving potluck lunch for clients of the daytime Resource Center. Multiple individuals donated all of the staples and trimmings for a delicious meal, and clients enjoyed the festive atmosphere inside the Resource Center.

"The clients absolutely loved it!" Kyana, one of our case managers, noted. "So many people came together to donate the food, and it was great to see folks enjoying the food and celebrating the holiday."

A huge thank you to everyone who donated food, helped set and take down, and who helped serve food on the day. We are so humbled by the kindness and generosity of our community!
