Jim Hoofnagle and his wife, Leigh, live in Central, Texas. Jim was diagnosed in 2019, and he began volunteering as a patient mentor in 2021. The Foundation is grateful to Jim for sharing positivity and encouragement with our community.

The role of locoregional therapy in treating intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (iCCA) patients is still limited. Therefore, a group of researchers assessed if using a hepatic arterial infusion pump (HAIP) to deliver high-dose chemotherapy directly into the liver is similar to surgical resection.

Reinaldo Rosario and Team TriSalus participated in the Colfax Marathon Corporate Relay on May 15th and raised $3,445.70!

Jonathan Whiting is doing a qualifying swim in Lake Tahoe, on June 25th, where he must swim for a minimum of six hours. A reception to meet Jonathan takes place that afternoon at 1:30 p.m. (MT) at La Hacienda Inn. Dave Fleischer, of Journey of Hope, will also be there.
