TeamCCF UPDATE

TeamCCF is gearing up for the Chicago Marathon on Sunday, October 9th. It will be our largest team to date with 26 runners. Anyone interested in cheering with TeamCCF can find the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation tent at mile 15. All are welcomed!

On Sunday, August 28, TeamCCF member, Kristen Pembek ran the Green River Marathon in memory of her grandma. This unique marathon started in Marlboro, Vermont, and ended in Greenfield, Massachusetts. Kristin ran a half marathon in 2021 with TeamCCF. Well done, Kristen!

Lisa Reynolds lost her mom, Laurie Kundrat, in January of 2022. Laurie loved to bike, and in her memory, Lisa decided to organize a bike ride starting at the Lake Wobegon Trail in St Joseph, MN on September 18th. Lisa and her brother worked with a designer to make shirts and posters for the event. All money raised will go to CCF and be earmarked for scientific research.

Kevin Coyle will host the 4th annual "A Hike for Jill. A Hike for a Cure," on Saturday, Sept. 10th. This year Kevin and his friends will hike to the summit of Mount Jefferson. The third highest peak in New Hampshire’s beautiful White Mountains.
