CCFC celebrated its 55 Year Anniversary with "Family Day at the San Francisco Zoo". Over 600 children, parents, staff, and their families attended the celebration on Saturday, May 11th.

Thank you SF Zoo for hosting such an enjoyable day with learning and fun!

Engaging Children in the Magic of Gardening 🌱

Gardening season is back! As part of the CCFC Nature Curriculum, gardening has become a spring tradition at our centers. Children explore dirt, bugs, and learn how to plant vegetables and flowers. Take a look at what the children at our centers have been up to in the gardens.

Gardening helps connect children to nature where they learn about how plants grow and how to nurture them.

Gardening with peers is a wonderful way for children to socialize with each other, learn to care for living things, and teaches responsibility.

Children are able to discover more than just plants as part of the CCFC Nature Curriculum. Sometimes they run into bugs!

The Cross Cultural Family Center serves over 300 children ages 6 months - 5 years, each day in our early care and education centers throughout San Francisco. From the Tenderloin to Richmond Neighborhoods, Western Addition, Potrero Hill and Visitacion Valley, our programs serve the needs of working parents and their very young children.  

Cross Cultural Family Center's Nature Curriculum incorporates nature topics in daily and weekly curriculum to ensure well rounded experiences to foster children's wellbeing and development. Your generous donations help to build out this program further to ensure the children we serve foster their natural wonder as we provide interesting surroundings that stimulate their curiosity.
