Happy 2023!!!

Last year, in spite of COVID-19, Central Coast Funds for Children had a banner year. To recap, CCFC was able to distribute $100,000 to 31 grant requests exceeding $2 million since 1994. Now, that’s making a difference in children’s lives in San Luis Obispo County. We couldn’t have done this without the help from our supporters (listed in this newsletter) and an amazing gala fundraising event, All for the Kidz.

I am humbled to have been elected to lead this incredible group this year.

I’m proud to have been an active member since April 2010. The passion to serve the children in need in our County is what drives each of us. That being said, we’re a small but mighty group and desire to invite passionate others on our mission, so if you or someone you know has an interest in learning more about membership opportunities, please reach out to myself or any CCFC member. Wishing you and yours a healthy & prosperous New Year!!

If the Shoe Fits ....

...Send them to the Child Development Resource Center! Each December, CCFC asks the Child Development Resource Center for a list of children, which includes their ages and shoes sizes. Thanks to the organization of Trustee, Jeanette Meek, members and trustees purchased shoes, socks and a small toy for each child whose name they selected. The staff was astounded at how many beautiful bags Jeanette Meek and Corinne Cilli delivered to them and expressed their appreciation for the generosity of our great members. A sincere thanks to all the members who so generously donated shoes, socks and toys.
