🤝 Get Involved
There are many ways to support KCBC this fall—volunteer, participate, sponsor, or simply help us spread the word!
Your support allows Keep Columbus Beautiful to continue promoting environmental stewardship, sustainability, and community pride throughout Columbus and the Chattahoochee Valley.
For additional information, please contact us at 706-225-4008 or kcbc1987@columbusga.org.
Thank you for helping us share all the exciting things happening at KCBC. We truly appreciate your continued support in helping us keep the community informed and engaged!

Your copy should address 3 key questions: Who am I writing for (audience)? Why should they care (benefit)? What do I want them to do (call-to-action)?
Create a great offer by adding words like "free," "personalized," "complimentary," or "customized." A sense of urgency often helps readers take action, so consider inserting phrases like "for a limited time only" or "only 7 remaining!"

Get Help & Support
If you’re in emotional distress or suicidal crisis, find help in your area.
If it’s an emergency, call 911. You can also go to your nearest emergency room. A medical professional can give information about your particular circumstances.
If you believe that someone else is in danger of suicide and you have their contact information, contact your local law enforcement for immediate help. You can also encourage the person to contact the suicide prevention hotline at 988 (call or text).
When you’re in crisis, research suggests that it may be helpful to reach out to others. When you connect with others, it can help you feel supported and give you a sense of belonging.
988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (call or text) Call or text 988 to get help.

🎒 KCBC Supports Back-to-School Events
KCBC was excited to kick off the new school year by participating in two wonderful community back-to-school events—the Back-to-School Bash hosted by J.D. Davis Elementary School and Tools for School hosted by Davis Broadcasting.
KCBC staff and Board members were proud to participate in both events, engaging with students, families, educators, and community partners while helping welcome students back for another successful school year.
We are grateful to J.D. Davis Elementary School and Davis Broadcasting for hosting these events and providing opportunities for community organizations to come together in support of our local students and families.
A special thank you also goes to our KCBC Board members and staff who volunteered their time to represent Keep Columbus Beautiful and connect with the community.
We wish all of our students, educators, administrators, and families an amazing 2026–2027 school year! 📚💚
Together, we’re helping build a cleaner, greener, and stronger Columbus! 🌱
