Dear CCHAT Families:
In response to school closures in Sacramento and Placer counties, CCHAT will be closed
Monday, March 16, through Friday, April 3
.
Our Spring break will still be held from Monday, April 6 through Monday, April 13.
School will resume session on Tuesday, April 14. This closure is an effort to slow the spread of COVID-19. We will let you know immediately if there are any changes to this schedule.
Thus, as of Monday, March 16, all CCHAT classroom instruction and speech pathology and audiology services will be closed. This will also allow time for the school to be sanitized and deep cleaned and for supplies to be replenished.
During this time, it is so encouraging to witness our entire CCHAT community coming together to support each other and our students. While our classrooms are empty, our work on behalf of children continues. Thank you to our teachers, speech pathologists and audiologist who have already shared educational, speech, language and listening activities with families so that learning can continue while students are at home. Teachers and speech pathologists will check in regularly with families by phone and/or email to see if any assistance is needed with the self-study packet.
The administration will continue to provide updates to our families as they become available. The CCHAT Center is monitoring announcements from local and state officials to ensure we address the needs of our community and what this extended closure will mean for the remainder of the school year calendar.
