Weekly Prayer Requests

Greetings! Thank you for your investment in praying for the ministry of CCI.  Here are this week's prayer requests.

LAOS: Please pray for God’s healing upon our country from the Coronavirus. The pandemic is getting worse, and the whole country is still in lock-down. People who violate this rule may go to jail and people who go out to anywhere without permission are fined 10,000,000 Kip, $1,000 USD. Pray for the alumni who graduated from our program to overcome their fear and be active to start classes and train their churches in the Word of God. There are new classes ready to start. But not all potential students have access to the internet. They are waiting for the lock-down to be over so they can start. Pray they will be encouraged and ready to begin as soon as possible.

NEPAL: Pray for Mr. B, the CCI director in Nepal and for his family to remain in good health. Pray for them to mourn the loss of his mother (62), who died last week with heart problems. Pray for people to have open hearts to hear the Gospel as they share with them.

Pray for Mr. B and the CCI team as they distribute food to many families who have lost their houses due to flooding from the mountain rains.

HAITI: We shipped several boxes of food, blankets, tents, tarps to Pastor Calixte, a CCI Area Coordinator. Praise the Lord they cleared customs. Pray for Pastor Calixte as he lines up the police escort to deliver these relief supplies to the needy families in Les Cayes this week. Pray for protection against bandits who try to steal these supplies. So many people lost their lives, houses, and businesses due to the recent earthquake and hurricane. Pray for God to bring healing to these families as they rebuild their lives.

VIETNAM: Pray for the students in the Da Lat class to be faithful in their studies each week as they have online training with Pastor Y in Vietnam. Pray for many students who have lost their jobs because companies have shut down during Covid lock-downs. They have no income to support their families, pay for books or continue training with CCI. Pray that God will raise up partners who will help support these students by giving monthly to the CCI Vietnam ministry. If you would like to help with this, please click HERE.

MEXICO: Pray for Keith and Jenny Arnold as they make final plans and prepare to leave Tampa on Oct 21 for Oaxaca, Mexico, where they will begin eight months of Spanish class training. Pray for God to help their brains grasp the Spanish language and for their mouths to adjust to the new words as they speak in class and to the community. Pray for their adjustment as they will live with a Mexican family and have daily life with them. Praise the Lord for how He has provided their monthly support and funds for this language school. Upon completion of school, they will begin their ministry in northern Mexico. Pray for God to prepare the pastors and church leaders in Puerto Penasco to be ready to start the CCI training soon after the Arnolds get settled.
