Here are this week's prayer requests.
MEXICO: Praise the Lord the Arnold family have their full support and are headed to Spanish Language School on October 21st. Pray for God to give them clear understanding, perseverance and a great time practicing and speaking Spanish in class and with their community. The language training will take 8 months for proficiency in speaking and writing Spanish.
THAILAND: Pray for the pastors and church leaders who will attend the Teacher Training Workshop in Chiang Mai on September 15-17. Pray they will grasp the CCI curriculum and become partners and start teaching the people in their churches.
GUATEMALA: Pray for God to give CCI Regional Director Ray McKenzie and Pastor Jim Graham great wisdom as they return to Coatepeque, Guatemala on Sept. 17-Oct 2 to teach the Old Testament Survey course to 10 pastors. Pray that these pastors gain a clear understanding of the OT and will be able to teach the Word of God more accurately with their congregations.
HOME GOING: Former CCI staff Aaron Issler passed last week to his eternal home with the Lord Jesus due to covid. Pray for Doris, family and friends as they grieve this loss and celebrate the great life that Aaron had as a child of God and a passionate servant of the Lord.
