Weekly Prayer Requests

Greetings!

Thank you for your investment in praying for the ministry of CCI. 

Here are this week's prayer requests.
 
CAMBODIA:
  • Please pray for the CCI National Director, Sitha and his family. They attended a graduation this past week, and now four members of his family have Covid, including Sitha. Pray for their speedy recovery and protection. Pray that the spreading of Covid will be reduced so they can get back to in-person classes.
  • Pray for the teachers and students of the 28 CCI classes in Cambodia to be faithful with the Word and multiply disciples.
  • Pray for the country of Cambodia: the government, CCI leaders, CCI students, CCI future expansion, and pray for the local churches that we work with to grow IN CHRIST.
THAILAND:
  • Pray for the people of Thailand as they continue to face inevitable adversity. There have been many suicides because they are lonely, in despair and have no hope. Pray for the CCI team as they share the Word with people and try to help them find refuge in the salvation that Christ offers.
  • Pray for the work of the CCI team as they continue to distribute food and needed supplies to families who have lost their jobs and have no income to support their families. Pray for God to open the hearts of many to desire to study the Word of God and start a new relationship with Him.
  • Pray for Khun and his wife to grow in the knowledge of the Word through the CCI training and to practically live and use this knowledge to grow in Christ and share this with others. Here is their testimony:
Khun Pantakornb Sonprakard and his wife are very enthusiastic about serving God. They had the experience of church planting in Chaiyaphum Province many years ago. It was unsuccessful because they did not have solidarity in their marriage, and they had never been trained in the Bible to have a sufficient basis. They had the opportunity to receive CCI training in a class of Eleazar Revival Church, which led them to be more organized and gain a systematic understanding of the Bible and the ministry. Thus, making the two of them united as one and a happier family. Both are currently enrolled in a CCI class together. They regularly serve with church leaders, and they join the evangelism team every week. Currently, they are studying Book 3, New Testament Survey.
MEXICO:
Pray for Keith and Jenny Arnold. They are getting adjusted to their two-room apartment in their host family's home in Oaxaca, Mexico. They have started Spanish language class and are using the Spanish language each day as they interact with the local community outside of their class time. Pray for good retention of the vocabulary words and pronunciation with the proper inflections.
TURKEY:
Pray for David Nelson and the team as they meet with pastors and share the CCI ministry. Ask God to open doors to connect him with key pastors who will be eager to start the training and help lead other pastors to join. Pray for God to raise up some churches in the U.S. to partner with CCI and these churches in Turkey. We would like to see the ministry of Gospel spread and many new believers come to faith in Jesus Christ.
END OF YEAR CAMPAIGN:
Pray for the End of Year financial campaign to be blessed with significant income to help us begin 2022 with greater expansion into new countries and within the many countries serving with CCI. These funds will be used to support new coordinators and teachers who take on new classes in new areas. Several partners have made a $26,000 matching gift challenge. The campaign will start this week as letters will be mailed to several hundred faithful partners of CCI. We are praying for more than $200,000 to be donated before the end of 2021 to sustain these new endeavors in 2022. Pray for God to move on each partner's heart to make a generous donation to help launch 2022 with a major boost for His glory.
PRAISE THE LORD JESUS for hearing your prayers and answering them according to His will. PRAISE THE LORD JESUS for supplying the needed financial support for the CCI national workers to carry on and expand this ministry in their countries.
