Weekly Prayer Requests

Thank you for your investment in praying for the ministry of CCI.

Here are this week's prayer requests.
  • Please pray for our brethren in Cebu and Bohol as they begin rebuilding their houses and church buildings after the region was devastated by Typhoon Odette. They need food, drinking water, building materials and a way to somehow earn a living after all their crops and animals have been destroyed by the typhoon.
  • Please pray for Manny Gocon, Regional Coordinator for Luzon who is suffering from diabetic neuropathy. It is getting harder for him to walk. Please pray for his strength and the ability to get the needed rest. He hopes to see a specialist for further testing and advice as he continues to lose weight and strength.
  • Cases of Covid are soaring in the Philippines and Manila is on Alert Level 3. Please pray for CCI Philippines National Director, Pastor Henry Ventura, and his wife Cora who have Covid. Thankfully, they have mild cases.

  • Please pray for Frids, the CCI National Director and his family as they plan to rent a house to serve as the office for CCI Indonesia and a home for his family. May the Lord speak words of wisdom and guidance over him and may he make the right choices and choose the right opportunities.

  • With the increasing number of teachers in West Sulawesi, CCI Indonesia needs a qualified person to become a coordinator in that area. Pray that God will bring up the right person for that responsibility.

  • In 2022, CCI Vietnam is going to start new classes in Dak Nong for Hmong, Gia Lai for Jarai and the Bac Kan province for the Hmong tribe. Please pray for God’s provision and protection.

  • Pray for the CCI classes for the Hmong People to restart in-person classes soon. Many students can't connect to the internet, so CCI Vietnam can't hold classes during the lock-down.
"I would like to thank God and the teachers for more than two years under God’s protection during the pandemic and instruction. Eventually, we finished all the courses.

I was a normal Christian. I did not care to read the bible and I lived selfishly. In 2019, I decided to join the CCI class in Da Lat. I learned many lessons from this class. My attitude toward God’s word, people, and myself have changed. I started to care for nonbelievers, new believers, other Christians, and my family. By God’s grace, I am currently taking care of a small group of new believers in my house."
