Register and … Spread the Word!
The rumors are true. Registration is now open for the 2021 CCIRA Conference. Now go spread the gossip!
For those of you who have attended a CCIRA Conference in the past, you know first hand the impact of the quality learning that stems from the sessions and idea sharing. For those of you who have never attended a CCIRA Conference, what are you waiting for?! This is the best year to dip your toes into the water with a virtual format. The conference format provides flexibility to watch sessions when they fit into your schedule without worrying about a snowstorm or writing sub plans (high five!).
CCIRA 2021 Conference Provides:
🗹 Quality professional development
🗹 Strategies to take back and use with teaching
🗹 Flexible Schedule
🗹 Opportunity to earn hours toward renewal of teacher license or college credit
Where else are you going to find high quality, high caliber sessions with national speakers at a very reasonable cost at your fingertips? We need your help in recruiting others and spreading the word about the 2021 CCIRA Virtual Conference.
We are challenging you! Encourage 5-10 of your friends and colleagues to register as well. You will be able to then share what you have learned individually.
Even though you may be thinking this is just one more thing on your plate, remember what Emily Goldenstein said in our latest podcast--- her principal always asks himself if he is adding to the plate, or to the person.
Join us as you add knowledge and ideas to "your person".

Meet the Executive Committee!
|
|
Every month we will introduce you to one of the leaders on the Executive Committee to help you get to know this part of the CCIRA leadership better.
|
|
Pam is currently serving on the EC as the President-Elect and Conference Chair of the CCIRA 2021 Conference. She has had multiple leadership roles in her local council, Ten Mile, as the Secretary, Vice President, and President. She also served on the conference committee as the Author Hospitality Chair since 2012 and also recently as the Site Chair. Pam is in her 29th year of teaching and has worn many hats: a special education teacher of students with severe needs, a fourth grade classroom teacher, a literacy resource teacher, and a Reading Recovery teacher.
Pam takes advantage of living in Summit County and loves to mountain bike, road bike, trail run, ski, and skate ski. She is an avid cyclist which inspired her conference theme, “It’s a Journey, Not a Race”. She and her husband have ridden road bikes to the top of the highest paved road in North America (Mt. Evans) and the mountain pass Col de la Bonnet in France.
