CHECKLISTS FOR RETURNING TO SCHOOL
In this video, CCISD students give the Top 10 reminders for returning to school this year.
CCISD leaders sat down to talk through what parents and students can expect for the first week of school in this special Back-to-School edition of our CCISD podcast, Car Rider Line.
First Day Checklist
  1. Students will locate their schedules in Skyward Family Access. It is recommended that students print out or take a screenshot of their schedules to reference next week. If your student needs a schedule change, you can fill out the Schedule Change Request Form beginning Monday, August 24.
  2. Students in 7th-12th grade who have not connected their school-issued devices to the CCISD WiFi since March will need to complete the necessary software updates at an outdoor wireless location (information below).
  3. On Monday, August 24, all students will log in to the CCISD Single Sign-On Portal. Elementary will log in at 8:15 a.m., Intermediate will log in at 8:50 a.m., High School will log in at 7:20 a.m., and WAVE/Science Magnet will log in at 8 a.m.

TECHNOLOGY HELP
By Friday, August 21, families should have received a device for students in grades 4th-12th. For families who indicated they did not have a personal device at home in grades K-3, the district has deployed all available devices. Families will need to use personal devices at home until the district receives the newly-purchased laptops in October. This includes personal laptops, desktop computers, tablets, iPads or smart phones. Campuses will be reaching out for K-3 laptop distribution when those arrive.

CLASS LISTS
This is a unique year for developing class lists considering more than 40% of CCISD students have elected a complete online experience, which has added a layer of complexity to matching students with CCISD teachers within their zoned school to deliver that instruction remotely.

Those schedules and class lists will be ready no later than Friday, August 21, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. Families can view their schedules at that time via Skyward Family Access and click on the "Schedule" tab.

If an intermediate or high school student sees a problem with a schedule, do not worry. There will be time on Monday, August 24, 2020 to resolve schedule issues with your counselor.
SUPPLY LISTS & CAMPUS WEBSITES
Clear Connections students should follow the supply list from their home campus. The links below will direct you to the campus websites where you can also find more information related to your student's school.
DRESS CODE
It is expected that students, regardless of Clear Connections or Brick and Mortar, follow CCISD dress code when on campus or in front of their computer screen. The 2020-2021 dress code is slated to be approved at the August 24 Board of Trustees meeting at 6 p.m. However, with the addition of mask guidelines, it will look similar to the 2019-2020 dress code.
SAFELY REOPEN

The Clear Creek Independent School District has developed a COVID-19 Standard Response Protocol to outline the actions the school district will take to prevent and mitigate the spread of COVID-19 in schools and support facilities.

It is important to follow health guidelines such as wear a face covering in public places, keep a distance of 6 feet, wash hands frequently and stay home if you are not feeling well.
Employees are required to take a daily self-health assessment and parents are asked to do the same for their students.
CURBSIDE MEALS
Meal service will be available for virtual learners at their home campus. The exception to this is for students that attend Clear Horizons ECHS, Clear View High School, and Clear Path Alternative Program. Students that attend these campuses will need to go to the comprehensive high school in their home attendance zone.

Meal service will be available on days classes are in session and students will be able to pick up a breakfast and a lunch at the same time. Students or parents will need to be able to provide proof of enrollment at the time of meal pick up. Proof can be the student’s school-issued ID or enrollment information through Skyward.
