We accept that Creator is the moving spirit in all and the loving essence of the universe.

Hanukkah is an eight-day Jewish celebration commemorating the Maccabees revolt victory and the miracle of the Second Temple's dedication, when a small amount of oil miraculously burned for eight days. Let's talk about the miracle, the rights to celebrate freely and ways it is celebrated today.

The Spirit That Continues:

Memory, Afterlife, and the Eternal Journey

with Rev. Doti Boon

Last Sunday, December 7, our nation observes National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day—a day in which we pause to honor the service members and civilians who lost their lives during the attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941.

This day is one of collective memory. But it also invites us into a deeper understanding of the spirit, of continuity, and of the ways the human soul persists beyond physical circumstance.

And that brings us directly to a core part of our own mission statement here at the Center for Creative Living:

“We believe in the continuation of the human spirit/soul in the afterlife and reincarnation.”
