CCLS Enrollment 2022-23

Parents of CCLS Candidates-

Thank you for your interest in Christ Community Lutheran School! November 1 marks the beginning of Enrollment season at CCLS for the 2022-23 school year, as we will begin accepting Admissions Applications on that date. We are using a new system for Enrollment this year, and we want to provide you with information about how our Enrollment process will work.  We ask you to please take some time to review this (lengthy) email. In addition to providing information, we are outlining a few action steps for you to complete in the coming weeks. Thanks in advance for your time and attention!

For the 2022-23 school year, we will be transitioning our student information software systems to the Blackbaud platform of school management software products. We are excited to get started with this transition, and we are confident that you will be pleased with the end result!

Step One in the transition is Enrollment for 2022-23. We will be using the Blackbaud Enrollment Management System for all student enrollment for next school year. To ensure that we have adequate time to adjust to the system change, and due to high demand for seats in our classrooms, we have moved our Enrollment steps earlier in the year than they have been previously. Here are some key dates, what is involved, and important action steps in the new Enrollment processes:

WHEN? November 1 - Ongoing

WHAT?  Admissions Application for New Students

Any student who will be new to CCLS in the 2022-23 school year must have a completed Admissions Application to be considered for Enrollment. The Application is completed through the student account in Blackbaud. In addition to the Application, students applying to our Early Childhood Education (ECE) program must also have a completed ECE Preferences Form, which is completed through the Blackbaud account. Complete by December 3 to be considered for first round of new student class placement.

ACTION STEP:

WHEN?  November 1 - December 3

WHAT?  Early Childhood Education Preferences Form

If you are applying for our Early Childhood Education program, you must complete an “Early Childhood Education Preferences Form”, which is available in your Blackbaud account.  This form will be used to indicate preferences for campus, days a week, and times of day for your ECE student.  Our Admissions Team will use the answers in this form to place students in ECE classes for the upcoming school year.  Due to high demand in our ECE classes, we may not be able to accommodate all ECE preferences.

ACTION STEP:

WHEN?  January 10 - ongoing

WHAT?  Financial Aid Applications Available

Financial aid applications will be available for completion for K-8 grade students (Financial Aid is not available for our Early Childhood Education program).

ACTION STEP:  

• Any K-8 parent who wishes to complete a Financial Aid Application may do so.  Decisions for Financial Aid awards will be made in the Spring.
