Welcome Back Falcon Parents!
We are excited to welcome you back for another exciting school year! As the school year started, it is time for us for new beginnings as we strive to make connections with each and every student through the College, Career, and Military Readiness (CCMR) program. Our CCMR program mission and beliefs are as follows:
- The mission of the SST High School CCMR Program is to lead all students to achieve college, career, and military readiness standards so that they graduate college-ready, career-ready, and military-ready and inspired to pursue postsecondary opportunities actively.
- Through our college, career, and military readiness guidance program, all students will be challenged to explore their passions, interests, and talents leading to continued growth and engagement.
- As a result, all students will be able to identify personal strengths that can be applied to achieve their academic, career, and personal/social goals.
- All students have significance and worth.
- All students – regardless of ability, age, gender, ethnicity, or sexual orientation-shall have equal access to all services (academic, career, and personal/social) provided by the CCMR program and the school.
- With a comprehensive college, career, and military guidance program and the right social and emotional support, all students can achieve outstanding results and graduate from high school, college, career, and military ready.
With this mission in mind, the CCMR team will diligently work to ensure that ALL of our students are CCMR-ready as they graduate from high school. Since we have only 9th and 10th graders, the CCMR team will help students to improve their study habits as well as focus on their own ownership of their futures and journeys of discovery.
So sit back, buckle up and ENJOY the CCMR ride! This will be a very exciting year. Our door is always open and I encourage you to reach out with any questions or concerns you may have.

Mike Gok, M.Ed.
AP of CCMR.
I began my career in the education field as a Math teacher in 2004 and continued teaching at Harmony Science Academy in 2007. After serving and leading many years in the non-profit educational foundations, I moved to become SST Houston Regional Operation & Student Recruitment Coordinator in 2018. I also supervised Campus Coordinators of Empowerment and Enrichment Programs and held the Assistant Principal position at the SST Sugar Land campus. Before I start working as AP of CCMR at SST Champions College Prep High School, for a non-profit organization, I developed, launched, and implemented a comprehensive academic advising and college counseling program for at-risk high school students, especially low-income students, underserved minorities, and students who are the first
generation to attend university. I strongly believe that every student deserves the
opportunity to attend college.

Mr. Sensoy,
CCMR Advisor.
Greetings, my name is Mr. Sensoy. I am one of the CCMR Advisors in SST College Prep High School. Firstly, I would love to thank all students and parents for being part of our community. Dreaming about our students shaping the future makes me excited. Some of my hobbies are reading books, playing soccer, swimming, and listening to music. I am a family man with three children and a precious wife. Since I see myself as a lifelong student and teacher, I think I will be helpful to my students in their high school and college journeys. This year I plan to have one-on-one meetings with all students and families under my responsibility. Also, I am planning to do home visits. As a professional soccer referee, I have decided to coach the boys' soccer team to win our first championships. I wish to have a successful and healthy year. Please contact me via email any time: msensoy@ssttx.org.
Students divided according to their last name initial. I will be providing CCMR services to students with last name starts with M-Z of 9th graders and H-Z of 10th graders.

Grade Weights Grading Scale, Class Ranking, GPA Grade Calculation
A student's Grade Point Average (GPA) is the accumulation of the GPAs calculated by dividing the total amount of grade points earned by the total amount of credit hours attempted for every semester. All semester grades for courses attempted will count toward a student's GPA. Weighted GPA is used to determine class rank. An unweighted GPA is used for admission to most colleges and universities and scholarships at in-state schools.

Dual credit is a process by which a high school student enrolls in a college course and receives simultaneous academic credit for the course from both the college and the high school. Students demonstrating college readiness through a college placement exam can earn college and high school credits in the same course by attending classes at their high school, on a Lone Star College campus, and/or online. Dual credit students can also earn college-level certifications while in high school that can lead to immediate job opportunities.
