Dear CCMS Members,
The Collier County Board of Commissioners met yesterday (Tuesday), discussing a number of items including COVID-19 issues. The Board agreed to continue with the reduced hours for Collier County beaches and to reconvene at a special meeting on June 2nd to re-evaluate. Some of the Commissioners noted that it is important to be aware of when counties on Florida's East Coast open their beaches.
The Board also discussed the increasing number of COVID-19 cases in Immokalee and asking the State to provide further testing support. And it was mentioned that the State has now approved vacation rentals to resume in Collier County, with some regulations.
