COVID-19 Updates / CCMS Ad-Hoc COVID Task Force Invitation
Dear Members,

CCMS is having an ad-hoc COVID task force meeting this Thursday, July 9, 6pm via Zoom. CCMS physician members who are interested in participating are welcome to join. Please email April Donahue for sign-in details. The task force will discuss additional ways the Medical Society can communicate and educate its members and the public on COVID-19.

Reminder, feel free to share and utilize our UPDATED PSA video: CCMS Physicians Care During COVID-19 Crisis (now includes added mask/face covering recommendation), the recommendations from the CCMS board to the Collier County Commissioners, and our informational posts on Facebook.
COVID-19 Updates/Resources:

Florida's COVID-19 Data and Surveillance Dashboard (Collier confirmed cases 7/6, 11am - 5,076)

Healthcare Network in collaboration with the City of Marco Island will provide free drive-thru COVID-19 testing from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 11 at Veterans Community Park at 901 Park Avenue, Marco Island, FL 34145. Testing will be available on a first-come basis for up to 250 people of all ages, regardless of symptoms. A physician or provider referral is not required, and those receiving tests do not need to be patients of Healthcare Network. Drivers and others needing testing must remain in their cars at all times.

CCMS Annual Meeting: Due to COVID-19, the CCMS 2020 Annual Meeting & Installation will be a virtual meeting. This event is free and open to the public, please register online.
