NDA Students Celebrated Christmas with Queen of Apostles Students
Last month we listed the many and varied donations, parties and celebrations for students at Rosary Cathedral Catholic School and Queen of Apostles. We are eternally grateful for all who give of their time, talent and treasure at the holidays and throughout the year.

Another example of generosity came from Notre Dame Academy ladies who each year bring Christmas to the students and families at Queen of Apostle School. The ladies come to the school and invite in the students and their families for games, food, celebration and of course gifts! Notre Dame Academy has been celebrating Christmas with Queen of Apostles for many years and we are very thankful for their love and support of our school.
Chrome Books for CCMT Students
Thanks to two very generous donors, students at both Queen of Apostles and Rosary Cathedral Catholic School have new Chrome book sets for their classrooms.

Queen of Apostles was able to purchase a set of Chrome books for five classrooms and now all classrooms have their own dedicated set of computers.

Thanks to a second donor, Rosary Cathedral Catholic School is able to replace one existing set of Chrome Books that is in need of replacement. We are still looking to secure funds to purchase six additional sets so each classroom would have their own dedicated set.
Queen of Apostles Kitchen Renovation
Thank you to The Andersons for seed money necessary to renovate, refresh and renew the kitchen and cafeteria areas at Queen of Apostles. The renovation will provide for a larger seating area for students in the cafeteria and more streamlined service of food for the students. We are currently soliciting additional donations to cover the cost of the full renovation.
RCCS Donates Blankets to St. Vincent's
Inspired by Camp Magis, students at Rosary Cathedral Catholic School are making fleece blankets which they will be donating to cancer patients at St. Vincent's Medical Center.
Imagine Learning Reading and Literacy Program Piloted at Queen of Apostles
Queen of Apostles was chosen as a pilot school in the Diocese of Toledo for Imagine Learning. The program is designed to increase student literacy, comprehension, and increase testing scores. Teachers attended a full day in-service in January and the program will launch in February.
Ladies from CCMT to Attend National Engineers Day at University of Toledo
Ladies in grades 5 - 8 who attend CCMT will have an opportunity to attend the 2018 National Engineers Week celebration at the University of Toledo. This particular event is only open to ladies in hopes of encouraging them to explore the field of engineering and provide a chance to learn about the variety of career paths an engineering education offers.

Robotics Club Expands
Due to overwhelming interest by the students at Queen of Apostles, teacher Doug Rogaliner has expanded the Robotics club to two days per week! The club was started after a donor provided the funding to purchase necessary supplies.

Wish List
We are currently looking for donors to fund the purchase of Chrome Books for the remaining classrooms at Rosary Cathedral Catholic School. Please consider helping the students with any size gift toward this worthwhile purchase. All of our reading and state testing is conducted on computers and both schools now have reading literacy programs in place for students to use a practice for the tests and to increase their reading literacy and comprehension skills.

If you are interested in adding to the seed money provided by The Andersons for the completion of the kitchen and cafeteria renovation at Queen of Apostles we would be eternally grateful.

Please hold our students and teachers in your prayers!
