This year's Confirmation Class is beginning its CityReach service project to learn about and serve the homeless in Boston. The first step in this project is collecting donations of the homeless' most-needed clothing and personal hygiene items from our Church community. The Confirmands will then help distribute these items to the homeless directly at Common Cathedral in downtown Boston on April 30.  Nylon jackets & raincoats, sweatshirts & sweaters, casual shirts and pants, comfortable boots & shoes, new socks and underwear, and travel-size toiletries are among the most-needed items.  The full list of needed clothing and personal hygiene items can be found here. Beginning today, you can drop these items off at the designated collection bins in Upper Parish Hall. If you are unable to drop at the church please contact Alyssa Kence (akence@hotmail.com) to make alternate arrangements.

The Knitting Ministry will meet this Monday, April 4 at 10am in the Memorial Room. They are happy to welcome new members or donations of knitted hats. Please email Bea with questions.

The MANNA Monday Lunch Program continues to provide lunch for our Cathedral the second Monday of the month. Volunteers are needed to make and donate food. Please sign up here. Or if Sign Up Genius gives you a headache, email Joanna Starr or Ingrid Melvin.

Once again, worshippers have an opportunity to select a favorite hymn to be sung during summer worship. For a gift of $100, your hymn of choice will be sung on a Sunday that you choose beginning June 12^th. We will strive to honor all specific date requests. Summer worship extends through September 4^th. Won’t you help us ensure that every summer Sunday has music to offer? Your gift may be in memory of a loved one, in honor of someone living, in commemoration of an occasion, or another designation.
