Grateful Hearts Reaching Out: Annual Appeal for 2023

Thanks to your grateful hearts, as of October 14 we have 22 Financial Intentions, totaling $94,315.

The Stewardship Appeal for 2023 began October 2 and continues until publicly November 6, All Saints’ Sunday. Materials were emailed on 10/2. Please let the office know if you do not receive them or would like materials sent by USPS. We have been gifted with grateful hearts; thank you for reaching out generously to support our mission to love God and neighbor as Jesus teaches. October 30 Coffee Hour in Honor of Charles

Sunday, October 30 will be Music Director and Organist Charles Raines’ last service with us. Please join us for the 10am service and for coffee hour in Charles’ honor after. As is traditional, we will be collecting a purse to present Charles. Checks can be mailed to the office with "Charles Purse" in the memo line or give online here.

Good News from the Music Program

I am pleased to share with the congregation the good news that Tish Kilgore (pictured here) will serve as our Interim Minister of Music as we search for a permanent successor for Charles.

She will start November 6 and serve through the Advent season to Christmas Eve. Here is a note from Tish to us. Here is her resumé. We are grateful that beloved summer musician

MANNA Mylar Blanket Drive

Christ Church is raising funds to buy mylar blankets and hand warmers for the homeless community we serve at the MANNA Program at the Cathedral in Boston. A little money goes a long way. We are collecting funds from October 10-November 14.
