Welcoming The Rev. Canon Jean Baptiste Ntagengwa as Guest Preacher and Presider This Sunday
We are honored to welcome The Rev. Canon Jean Baptiste Ntagengwa, Th.D., Canon for Immigration & Multicultural Ministries, as the guest preacher and presider for worship on Sunday, October 10. Please note that there is only one service on 10/10 at 10 a.m. We will not hold the 8:15 a.m.
Ntagengwa spent his early years in Rwanda, where much of his extended family still lives. He holds a certificate in accounting and economics from the Ecole d’Economie et de Commerce de Janja, in Ruhengeri, Rwanda, and a Bachelor of Divinity degree from St. Paul’s United Theological College in Limuru, Kenya. He was ordained to the priesthood in the Anglican diocese of Embu, Kenya. Directions for New End to 10 a.m. Worship Service
The Crucifer leads the Celebrant down the center aisle as the postlude begins. The choir remains in place to listen to the postlude until our worship concludes. The congregation is invited to do the same.
Welcoming a Baroque Ensemble to Worship This Sunday
This Sunday, October 10 at the 10 a.m. service, we welcome the Baroque instrument trio, “AnciaCorde.” In place of organ music, the trio will join Charles for the prelude, the anthem, music during communion, and the postlude. Handel’s beautiful trio sonata in E-flat will highlight the talents of oboist, Alison Gangler; violinist, Lisa Brooke; and cellist, Rebecca Shaw.

The Knitting Ministry Continues to Meet Monthly
The Knitting Ministry met this past Monday to knit prayer shawls and winter hats for the MANNA Community. The Knitting Ministry meets the first Monday of the month at 10 a.m. Please email Bea if you are interested in joining.

Indigenous Peoples' Day Service
Join an online service for the diocesan community for Indigenous Peoples' Day, Monday, Oct. 11, at 4 p.m. via Zoom. Registration required.
