Dear Parents,

As we say goodbye to April, we look forward to a season of growth at CCPC! I am pleased to share important updates, reminders, and highlights for the month ahead as we close the 24-25 School Year!

Thank you to everyone who generously contributed to the DC Diaper Bank Drive. We will continue to accept donations through this Friday, May 2nd.

As May unfolds, we'll honor our dedicated teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week. We will celebrate their invaluable contributions and another successful school year.

Saying goodbye at the end of the school year is never easy, especially for families leaving CCPC. Consider commemorating your child's nursery school experience with a personalized brick—a lasting tribute to their time at CCPC!

DC Diaper Bank

Young families know the challenges of raising a family—that's why the DC Diaper Bank Drive resonates so deeply with our CCPC parents. This heart-to-heart, cross-community outreach is a favorite initiative of the Parent Advisory Committee.

Please drop off your donations by Friday, May 2nd, in the lobby!

Teacher Appreciation Week

May 5 - 9

Our teachers are the heart and soul of our school. The Parent Advisory Committee asks that you help reflect the love and attention they give your children each and every day.

Director Page and the Parent Advisory Committee have some treats planned for the staff. Here is how you and your child can participate:

Monday, May 5

Have your child bring in 1 flower for each of their classroom teachers to add to a class bouquet

Tuesday, May 6

Have your child make and bring in a card for their teachers

Wednesday, May 7

Have your child wear their teachers' favorite colors

Your Annual Fund Dollars at Play

Thanks to the generous Annual Fund contributions from our supportive CCPC community, our classrooms are exploring in new ways with new equipment from the teacher wish lists!

Our new equipment includes light tables, microscopes, Lego tables, and even some iPads for teacher-supervised projects in our Creekside program.
