Dear Parents,

It's been a joyous journey so far this school year, and I am thrilled to share some highlights from the past month and upcoming plans with you.

Thank you to everyone who joined us at the recent Creekside Town Hall Meeting. We were delighted to share our curriculum and philosophy as we support each child's unique educational journey. It's heartwarming to witness the growth and development of our young learners.

The auction fun has continued with the children enjoying classroom parties and The Great Zucchini show! Laughter, joy, and memories were made, thanks to everyone's enthusiastic participation.

On Friday, May 3rd our teachers will be wearing stickers in support for the DC Pay Equity Fund, highlighting the ongoing need for fair teacher compensation in Early Childhood Education. We're proud to stand in solidarity with this important cause!

Thank you to everyone who has generously contributed to the DC Diaper Bank Drive. We will continue to accept donations through this Friday, May 3rd.

As May unfolds, we'll be honoring our dedicated teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week and planning end-of-year celebrations. Stay tuned for more details on how we'll commemorate the invaluable contributions of our teachers and mark another successful school year.

I hope that you are able to attend the remaining Auction Sign-up Parties!
  • Margaritas & Mingle Auction Party 5/3: Join fellow CCPC parents for an evening of friendship and connection as we gather to mingle and toast our community.
  • Avalon Theatre Auction Party 5/18: Let's close out the year with a movie morning at the Avalon Theatre. It promises to be a fun filled family event for all!

Saying goodbye at the end of the school year is never easy, especially to families leaving CCPC. Consider immortalizing your child's nursery school experience with a personalized brick—a lasting tribute to their time at CCPC!

Thank you for being part of our vibrant community at CCPC! Together, we're creating enriching experiences and nurturing a love for learning in our children.
