Parent News
February 2024
Hoppy Leap Year, dear parents and little leapers! This short month was filled with so much excitement! Not only did we share love at Valentine's Day we shared love at our Annual Playtime Project event!

I want to especially thank all the parent volunteers who made this initiative a great success, and another thank you to the parents who swiftly purchased all the needed supplies!

I wanted to take a moment to share the delightful experience I had with our adorable Salamanders class during our recent exploration of our local community. The fresh air, the sound of laughter, and the curiosity in their eyes made this outing truly special.

Our destination? The post office – a place full of charm and significance in our community. Each child had the opportunity to feel like a little postmaster, armed with their love notes crafted with care and creativity. The joy on their faces was priceless as they carried their precious cargo, eager to send warm messages to their loved ones.

As we made our way back to CCPC, I couldn't help but reflect on the significance of these seemingly small adventures. Exploring our local neighborhood not only provides a tangible connection to the world around us but also fosters a sense of community spirit and togetherness among our little ones.

As we leap into the upcoming months, I am filled with gratitude for the incredible community we have here at CCPC! Your active participation, whether through volunteering, attending events, or simply being present, enriches the preschool experience for everyone. I hope to see you all on March 16th at our Auction Soiree at Junction in Friendship Heights!

Love in Action
Our Woodland and Creekside classes helped make a difference in local children’s lives by assembling love bags to be delivered to their shelters. The kits provide activities designed specifically for children to foster playtime skills like problem-solving, social-emotional learning, and maybe most critically, optimism.

Thank you, generous parents,
for purchasing ALL of our Amazon wish list supplies for
75 love bags!

We were so happy to send some CCPC love to children in our community.
