  • Need a higher Registry Step? Check out the Step Planner on your PDS to see what step you might qualify for. Then complete a Step Application.


Grant Updates and Information

Child Care Capacity Building

Fund has been Postponed


The new grants are part of a $22 million fund created by the Oregon State Legislature to make sure more families have access to the child care they need.


Seeding Justice received over 850 interest forms for the first/priority round of applications totaling more than $170 million in requests.


Due to the overwhelming response, round 2 is postponed until further notice. They will provide an update on May 15, 2023.

National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) is coming to Portland!


The Professional Learning Institute will be in Portland Oregon June 4th-7th 2023. The Professional Learning Institute is designed for all early childhood professionals.


Attendees can expect over 200 learning sessions and unlimited networking opportunities. YC.

Introducing: Early Childhood Educator

Training at The Academy


The Academy is an educator training center located within the Chemeketa Center for Business and Industry providing non-credit training for early, mid, and advanced career educators.


They provide early childhood educators high-quality training opportunities aligned with licensure requirements that enhance their ability to meet the needs of children and families.


They also offer consulting and customized training specifically designed for groups ranging from individual providers to large organizations.
