Black History Month & CTE Month
are Celebrated Together at
Havelock High

Thank you to the Havelock High School Culinary Arts Students and Staff for showcasing a delicious meal for the staff at the Board of Education and also at the school last week during a specail Cultural Festival. These culinary treats featured cultural, historical, and educational context during Black History Month. This was a wonderful and very tasty learning experience for our students and staff.
West Craven High students and staff, CCS Employees, Board Members, and parents came together Wednesday afternoon to wish Mr. Tabari Wallace well wishes on his next endeavor during a surprise drive-thru parade. It was wonderful to see so many come out to congratulate him on his new position with the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction. We will miss Mr. Wallace but we are so thankful that we will still have an opportunity to work with him in his new role. He will continue to do amazing work for students and school leaders across the state. #rideorfly
