About Heidi Daly

Originally from Colorado, Heidi relocated to North Carolina with her husband—who also teaches in the district—nearly two years ago. She holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Colorado State University and began her career in public accounting before advancing into finance leadership roles.

Her experience includes serving five years as Finance Director for a local parks and recreation district, followed by a decade as Chief Finance Officer in the outdoor recreation and tourism industry. Before joining Craven County Schools, Heidi served as CFO for Cañon City School District in Colorado for three years.

Alongside her professional work, she has served as Treasurer for three nonprofits and currently consults for two educational nonprofits. She is passionate about giving back to her community and is excited to serve in her new role.

“I look forward to getting to know more of you and working together to support our students,” said Heidi.

About Karri Rogers

Karri holds a BA in Business Management and Marketing and has been a valued member of Craven County Schools since 2013. She began her CCS journey as a bookkeeper at West Craven Middle before transitioning to the Finance Office as a Payroll Specialist. In 2016, she became Payroll Administrator, where she built a wealth of expertise ensuring employees are paid accurately within state and local guidelines.

Now, Karri steps into the role of Assistant Finance Officer.

“I am excited to continue providing support for our educators, students, and my dedicated team as the Assistant Finance Officer for CCS,” Karri shared.

About Jessica King

Jessica is a proud graduate of West Craven High School and is currently pursuing her master’s degree at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. She brings valuable experience to her new role, having previously served in Accounts Payable with Craven County Schools.

Jessica’s strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence have made her a trusted member of the finance team. Originally from Vanceboro, she is passionate about serving the school system she once attended as a student.

“I am most excited to continue supporting the employees of Craven County Schools and contributing to the success of the finance team,” said Jessica.
