Shelter News
A big thank you to the team of
Google employees who volunteered to paint our atrium.  It is a beautiful blue, and has brightened up the whole hallway.  The cats love it, and so do our staff and visitors!
We had a special adoption recently with Lashanna.  She was originally adopted from Cat Care Society,
but last month turned up in very bad shape at a veterinary clinic.  Because of her microchip, they were able to trace Lashanna to us and we picked her up.  Our staff brought her back to health fairly quickly, and she is doing well and gaining weight.  We could not reach her original adopters, but a
wonderful family took her into their  home. Lashanna has also bonded with another cat in the family, for an even happier ending!
Tune in to Channel 9 at 7:45AM Wednesday morning, June 13th.  One of our kitties will be on Petline 9 with Outreach Director, Suellen Scott.
June is Adopt-a-Cat Month

In observance of June Adopt-a-Cat Month, we have reduced adoption fees on all cats and kittens.   If you have been thinking of bringing a furry friend into your home, this is a perfect time to do so.  We have cats and kittens of all ages and personalities.  Please come visit!

Please visit our Facebook page for more information.
Visit our website to view all our cats available for adoption.
Note: our standard adoption  screening process applies to this promotion. Further, for cats age ten and older and cats with chronic medical problems we offer our Perpet-U-Care Program which provides
$250 of veterinary care services at the CCS Cat Clinic annually.

Location: Denver Civic Center Park
Saturday, June 16th from 11AM to 7PM
Sunday, June 17th from 10AM to 6PM
Be sure to put the Denver Pridefest on your calendar for this weekend.  Help Cat Care Society and our community celebrate LGBT pride.  We will have a tent at the festival with cats and kittens, items from our Meow Mart, and literature.  If you spend $10 or more on the store items, you will win a turn on the Spin-the-Wheel and a chance to win free cat swag!

Opt to Adopt Mallory
Hi there, my name is Mallory!  I'm a 4 year old Queen, looking for my own castle to rule.  I miss having a family of my own.  I had a great home, but lost it and I don't know why.   I do need to be the only cat.  At the shelter I admit I am not on my best behavior when there are other cats around.  But when I am by myself I can be so loving and cuddly. I'm an expert at sitting in laps and purring!  I have long hair, and although I don't like having it brushed, sometimes I do need a bit of help keeping it looking gorgeous. Please come and meet me!
You can read more about Mallory on her Adopt-a-Pet page:
