The employee transfer list is now open through June 15, 2021. Before an employee can place his/her name on the transfer list , he/she MUST inform his/her present supervisor of the desire to transfer to another location/department. Principals/Supervisors will have immediate access to the transfer list and will make contact if interested in scheduling an interview.
Any employee interested in transferring to another site/position should plan to attend the Virtual Recruitment Fair in March. Administrators and supervisors will have the opportunity to meet those on the transfer list and discuss opportunities for next year. After June 15, 2021, transfers can only occur with consent of both administrators. Keep in mind, administrative transfers can occur at any point and there is a chance that we may transfer teachers based on changes in allotted positions.
After speaking with the principal/supervisor, an employee may add his/her name to the transfer list. All principal are able to view the transfer list at the following site:

School-Based Therapy

Did you know that Craven County Schools has school-based therapy? School-based therapy is provided by Integrated Family Services or Pamlico Child and Family Services depending on the school. Children who receive school-based therapy are seen by a therapist at their school during the school day several times a month. If you have a student that you feel would benefit from school-based therapy, please contact your school counselor who will discuss the opportunity with the parent and make a referral if the parent is in agreement. This is a great resource for our schools and families.

2021 United Way Kickoff Campaign

Since 1957, we've relied on our partnerships with local businesses to sustain our vital work. The support, leadership, and resources that local businesses offer are essential to achieving our goals and bringing sustainable change to lives in Carteret, Craven, Jones and Pamlico Counties. Participating in a United Way Campaign in your workplace gives your business and employees the opportunity to learn about our community’s needs and gives every person the opportunity to be involved in finding solutions.
We invite you to become a game changer and a hand raiser for improving education, health care and financial stability for all. You can LIVE UNITED and help rally support for our agencies and programs.
This year United Way has designed a virtual way for individuals to donate. Check out the online virtual pledge form …..It’s a very simple way to donate on our secure website by payroll deduction, credit card or check. No paperwork!.
