"My rage intensifies because I am not a victim. It burns in my psyche with an intensity that creates clarity. It is a constructive healing rage... (It is) a way for us to learn to see clearly." bell hooks.

Saints, in today's world, political leaders often rise by exploiting society's anger and frustration rather than offering true solutions. They tend to amplify fear, blame minorities, opponents, and the media, fueling hostility that leads to violence, threats, and harassment, especially against the vulnerable. Societies with histories of inequality or authoritarianism often distrust institutions, drifting toward revenge and quick, cruel responses. Leaders manipulate these negative emotions to promote strength and dominance, which deepens divisions, breeds resentment, and perpetuates cycles of violence and social fragmentation.

These are revolutionary times, and God's revolution has already begun. It started with and through the Word. We continue this revolution through honest, compassionate speech—words of peace, inclusion, and truth that reshape our world. Meaningful change happens when we engage in difficult conversations with clarity, respect, and love, and when we practice justice through small, deliberate acts. God's revolution advances when someone moves through the world knowing love because of our words and actions.

Loving God, in times of fear and division, grant us the courage to speak with honesty and love. Help us stay rooted in your truth, refusing to be swayed by hatred or injustice.

Fill us with Your Spirit so our words reflect Christ's inclusive love and justice. Empower us to perform small acts of kindness and reconciliation, knowing faithful witness begins in everyday moments. When conversations become tough, remind us of your patience and grace.

Guide us to be catalysts of hope—voices that challenge injustice and build the peace you desire. In the name of the one who is your living Word, the truth, the way, and the life, we pray. Amen.
