On Wednesday, January 27, the New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA) announced it will open pre-registration for Phase 2 of its Small Business Emergency Assistance Loan Program at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 10, 2021. Read more>>
The Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) re-opened on Tuesday, January 19 to all participating lenders. A borrower can apply for forgiveness once all loan proceeds for which the borrower is requesting forgiveness have been used. Borrowers can apply for forgiveness any time up to the maturity date of the loan. Read more>>

I live within a stone’s throw from the Conrail tracks which carry long, speeding freight trains past my house every day and night. When I first moved to my home, I had some concerns about the trains. Today, like with the sound of airplanes soaring low to land in nearby Philadelphia, I hardly hear the noise. Many of my neighbors say the same. Read more>>

Recognizing the threat of climate change to our lives and planet, the Senate Budget and Appropriations Committee today passed legislation that will begin to lower carbon dioxide emissions in a practical way, by encouraging consumers to use unit concrete products that utilize carbon footprint-reducing technology and offering such products as an option in new construction, though the use of such technology would not be mandatory.
