on social media:
Since the outbreak of COVID-19 in mid-March, the CCSNJ’s singular focus has been to help our members navigate the economic crisis created by the pandemic in every way possible. A key component of this assistance comes in the form of advocacy at the state and federal level. While the CCSNJ has kept a keen eye on public policy initiatives related to the health emergency, there has also been a series of non-COVID issues considered by the Legislature that impact member companies and the region, which the CCSNJ continues to engage on. And, as always, the state budget remains a critical priority as we enter an unprecedented FY2021 budget cycle over the summer months concluding on the new budget deadline of September 30, 2020.

It has been just over a decade since I last served as interim chancellor, and I’m honored to have been asked to serve the campus and university again in this role. The qualities of Rutgers–Camden that brought me here two decades ago – its outstanding faculty, bright and motivated students, committed and caring staff, and ambitious leaders – have kept me here ever since.
