Attendees will be assigned to groups of six players to take part in this fun networking opportunity. Players hit micro-chipped golf balls that track each shot’s accuracy and distance while awarding points for hitting targets on the outfield. Whether you’re an aspiring golf pro or picking up a club for the first time, Topgolf is everyone’s game. It’s fun, it’s competitive, and it’s a unique way to network and build relationships with fellow members. Appetizers will be served in each golf bay and a cash bar will be available.

The 10KSB program is a comprehensive 14-week program designed to help small businesses create a five-year growth plan. Classes are provided at the Community College of Philadelphia, the only 10KSB site in the tri-state region. Legislative Work
Starting May 4, 2022, New Jersey retail stores, grocery stores and food service businesses may not provide or sell single-use plastic carryout bags and polystyrene foam food service products. Single-use paper carryout bags are allowed to be provided or sold, except by grocery stores equal to or larger than 2500 square feet, which may only provide or sell reusable carryout bags. After November 4, 2021, plastic straws may be provided only upon the request of the customer. Read more>>
On August 24, the New Jersey Department of the Treasury announced that the state’s gas tax rate will decrease by 8.3 cents per gallon beginning October 1. Under a law passed in 2016, New Jersey’s Transportation Trust Fund (TTF) program is required to provide $16 billion over eight years to support critical infrastructure improvements to the state’s roadways and bridges. In order to ensure the State has the funds necessary to support these projects, the law dictates that the Petroleum Products Gross Receipt (PPGR) tax rate must be adjusted accordingly to generate roughly $2 billion per year. Read more>>

The Burlington County Commissioners have launched a new online tool to help local businesses start, grow and thrive.
Commissioner Director Felicia Hopson unveiled the new Burlington County Business Portal while delivering the keynote presentation at the Chamber of Commerce of Southern New Jersey’s Regional Economic Perspective Breakfast. She described the new online site as a “single-location resource” for information critical to both large and small businesses, longtime established ones and new enterprises. Read more>>
City business leaders say reforms to the state’s Urban Enterprise Zone (UEZ) program should help existing businesses grow and make it easier for new ones to open. Lt. Gov. Sheila Oliver signed the urban enterprise reform package last week, earmarking $42.5 million for the program this fiscal year and up to $82.5 million annually going forward. Oliver was serving as acting governor while Gov. Phil Murphy vacationed in Italy. Read more>>
