Theresa “Terry” Glebocki serves as Chief Executive Officer of Ocean Casino Resort.She joined Ocean in February 2019 as the casino’s chief financial officer, was appointed the interim CEO in August 2019 and was named CEO in December 2019. Terry brings more than 30 years of leadership experience to the role. In April 2021, she was appointed as the first female president of the Casino Association of New Jersey (CANJ). Join us as Terry discusses her history, career path in the gaming industry, the latest challenges for helping Atlantic City recover from the pandemic and future goals for the revitalization of Ocean Casino Resort.

Deptford Township is Gloucester county's third most populated municipality, but it's now only a small fraction of what it once was. The old township, incorporated in 1695, comprised some 106 square miles and included what today is West Deptford, Washington Township, Monroe, Westville, Woodbury and Woodbury Heights. Legislative Updates
On July 2, Governor Murphy signed A-5939 (Pintor Marin/Ruiz), which revises the "New Jersey Economic Recovery Act of 2020" to react to changes in the workplace due to the pandemic. The Chamber of Commerce Southern New Jersey (CCSNJ) was proud to support this needed legislation as it moved through the legislature. Read more>>
On July 1, Governor Murphy signed legislation supported by the Chamber of Commerce Southern New Jersey that will assist businesses in hiring for the summer and help prevent nonprofits from receiving surprise unemployment insurance bills.
On June 29, Governor Murphy signed the FY2022 State Budget. The $46.4 billion budget is the largest budget in state history and includes property tax relief measures, COVID-19 relief for businesses and a full pension payment. Read more>>
On June 24, Governor Murphy signed A-5590/S-3819 (Mazzeo, Armato, Greenwald/Sweeney, Beach) which extends the state's control of Atlantic City for an additional four years. The State control had been set to end its control this year. Read more>>

Christina Renna, the CEO of the Chamber of Commerce Southern New Jersey, reacted to the signing of the state budget as many of the heads of the state’s top business groups did: Happy for some expenditures, thrilled there were no new taxes — and worried about unsustainable spending. “The final version of the (fiscal year) 2022 state budget is very much a tale of two budgets,” she said.
