My name is Babs. I came to CCV as a struggling, single mom. I was greeted by a family who helped me with food, prayer, love and grace. One of my favorite memories was the pampering I received at "Be A Blessing." The chaos in my life was overwhelming and I felt like I might drown. At Be a Blessing I felt special. The chaos was replaced by the peace and hope found in being a part of God's family. Now I volunteer to help others feel the same way. What filled my heart the most was the impact I saw on the women who were attending. One woman arrived weary and worn. She was looking in a mirror after having her hair and makeup done, her eyes tearing up in amazement. In the mirror she was able to look past the pain in her life and see a beautiful daughter of God, precious and worthy of love.

 BE A BLESSING
Help us reach out with the love of Christ to Single Moms and Moms-in-Need, in our community, by donating new clothes or shoes and volunteering at the event. You can also help by inviting a mom who is struggling. Pick up an invitation at the info center and invite them to attend Be A Blessing.
