 Dear Friends,

This Sunday our text is from Paul’s letter to the Romans as he wrestles with why if we have been brought into a relationship of sharing in the glory of God, do we still suffer? Paul’s answer is that “suffering produces endurance,   and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not disappoint us.”  Faith is thus trusting -- even or especially in suffering -- that God’s love is steadfast and hope worthy. Hope will not disappoint.

Join us for online worship this Sunday, June 14, 2020, the Second Sunday after Pentecost. Bob Feeny will be preaching.

Jan 9 “Let’s Talk” with the Rev. Mariama White Hammond
This conversation with the Rev. Mariama White Hammond on the social justice ramifications of climate change had to be postponed because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Tragically the pandemic has only underscored the relevancy of this conversation. Why are black and brown people disproportionately displaced and affected by climate change and what can be done?  More information to come.
