Daria at W ATCH CDC adds:

"We could use any donations of used iPads or tablets for our ESL and GED students to keep up with their studies during the epidemic. We would appreciate it - even getting a few would be great!"

Share Your Talents for Summer Worship
Summer Worship at WVC Online begins June 21st
Wellesley Village Church

Online Worship can be found at:

or on Facebook:
An invitation to you from WVC Associate Director of Music, Ed Broms
I am pleased to invite members of the congregation and beyond who would care to share an offering of their talents in worship services coming up over the summer and into the fall. I am hoping to feature weekly musical (and other artistic) offerings from our illustrious and industrious community at the Offering time of the services. (The Musical Offering idea is named after the famous work of Bach.)

These can be solo offerings, or groups including friends, music, spoken word, paintings, stories etc. I can assist and accompany too, if desired and appropriate. They can be on the range of topics and themes of the church year, and can be scheduled according to your availability and the season.

There are 12 Sundays in the summer calendar from June 21 to Sep 6 that I would like to schedule first and soon, so give some thought as to your availability.

I will be creating a roster of those interested. To take part, please contact the Associate Director of Music, Ed Broms, at

Antiracism 101: Starting the Work Change Requires
This past Sunday, as we gathered around the sanctuary steps, united in the conviction that Black Lives Matter, we affirmed that the work of dismantling systemic racism, and ending state-sanctioned violence against black bodies requires our ongoing commitment to doing the work, and many of you have heard the call. Due to higher-than-anticipated enrollment, we are expanding our summer reading series to four sections.
We will discuss the aims of the series, review the schedule of readings, and prepare ourselves to begin this crucial work together.  Beginning the week following Sunday, June 14th, we will meet in four sections:
Tuesdays 8:00-9:30am
Wednesdays 4:00-5:30pm
Wednesdays 6:00-7:30pm
Thursdays 12:00-1:30pm
If you have questions or would like more information, please email Pastoral Resident Bob Feeny at: .

Jan 9 “Let’s Talk” with the Rev. Mariama White Hammond
This conversation with the Rev. Mariama White Hammond on the social justice ramifications of climate change had to be postponed because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Tragically the pandemic has only underscored the relevancy of this conversation. Why are black and brown people disproportionately displaced and affected by climate change and what can be done?  More information to come.
