Did you miss last Sunday's Pentecost Service?

On Pentecost Sunday, the Congregational Church of Weston worshiped with the Wellesley Village Congregational Church. Thanks to all those who joined in on Rise Up O Flame, among other collaborative offerings. Look for more opportunities to collaborate on music for summer worship! Contact Ed Broms to offer your musical talents or express interest in participating.

An Invitation from Rev. Dr. Sarah Butter
WVC Senior Pastor
The pastoral staff and I discussed with Council last night the desire to gather as people of faith who are firm in our conviction that Black Lives Matter, who protest police brutality and racial injustice, and who pray and work for a world of justice and joy for all.
We are working hard to balance the continuing need to keep safe physical distance between us with our need to gather in community for solidarity, to address issues of injustice and to find hope for transformation. To that end, we offer the following:
United in the conviction that Black Lives Matter, that police brutality and racial injustice must end, and that we are called to pray and work for justice and joy for all people:
You are invited to gather safely* in solidarity on the church lawn, sidewalks, church steps and driveway for music, thought and prayer.
Sunday, June 7, 2020 @ 4pm
Wellesley Village Church at Washington street between Central and Church streets.
Our partner Churches CCW and the Charles Street AME and all Wellesley congregations have been invited; all are welcome. The steeple bells will ring, and we will throw open the sanctuary windows to hear the organ play. A focused time of reflection and music will be led from the main steps at 4:15pm.
*Masks will be required and physical distance between family groups is expected. Please only come if you feel safe; we will attempt to arrange a live-stream on Facebook so those that need to be home can participate .
Did you see our NEW WEBSITE?

You may remember that our website crashed in early March – the same week that the Covid quarantine began. While the two events were unrelated, it certainly complicated matters as we entered an online intense time of life!
We are back up. Thank you to Sharon Kuhn and Laura Pohl, web designer . There are a few items we are still working on – linking in a calendar program, for example – but we would love to hear from you about the website. Please send comments/feedback to .
Thank you.
